My love of art comes from my family.  My mother is a Nantucket basket weaver and my sister is an accomplished painter.  After living in the forests of western Washington state I have returned to Cape Cod where I grew up.  I love the ocean colors, beaches, trees, marshes, cranberry bogs of the Cape.  Each state has it’s beauty to inspire.

After decades in office buildings where everything was grey on grey. desks, grey rugs, grey partitions around everybody’s cube etc… oh and most everybody would wear grey or black or well lately jeans and t-shirt… I felt the need to bring some color and fun into my wardrobe so I started learning to make some fun colorful pieces myself.  That is how I found polymer clay.  I am also an active member in polymer guilds, currently a member of the New England Polymer Arts guild.

Hope you enjoy browsing my musings and work …
